After injuring himself, former NFL athlete, Dave Vobora found a new love: helping wounded warriors. It all started when he was introduced to staff Sergeant Travis Mills, who inspired him to help create his foundation "adaptive training".
"I just walked up to him and asked him, when`s the last time he worked out, " Dave explained.
His organization specializes in giving wounded warriors and others with disabilities a new lease on life through mind and body exercise.
"It`s sweat psychology," he added. "It`s using weights and conditioning to teach people about themselves."
Even the president has thanked Dave for his efforts!
"He looked at me and said 'I know what you`re doing, it matters, don`t stop..'"
But , it's the heroes at the core of Dave's program that matters the most!
